Does this really cost me nothing?

If the accident wasn't your fault, the costs of your replacement vehicle, recovery, storage and repairs are claimed from the at-fault driver's insurer. You don't pay an excess, and your no-claims bonus is protected because you're not claiming on your own policy.

Why not just go through my own insurer?

You can — but you'll usually pay your excess, risk your no-claims bonus, and get a small courtesy car rather than a like-for-like replacement. Going through us keeps the claim where it belongs: with the at-fault insurer.

What counts as a non-fault accident?

Typically: being hit from behind, hit while parked, or hit by someone pulling out on you — any collision where the other driver is clearly to blame. Not sure? Call us and we'll tell you honestly in two minutes.

What kind of replacement car do I get?

Like-for-like. If you drive a 3 Series, you won't be put in a city runabout. We supply prestige vehicles, vans and taxis through our specialist hire partners.

My car's been written off — what are my options?

Accept the insurer's settlement, or use our buy-back option: we top the settlement up to your car's full pre-accident value and take the damaged vehicle off your hands.

My car still drives — can I still claim?

Yes. Even if your vehicle is roadworthy, you're entitled to have the damage repaired and your costs covered by the at-fault insurer. We'll arrange the repair around you, with a replacement vehicle while yours is in the bodyshop.

Will my premium go up?

Because the claim is made against the at-fault driver's insurer rather than your own policy, you don't pay an excess and your no-claims bonus isn't touched. You should still tell your insurer the accident happened — we'll explain exactly what to say so it's logged as non-fault, for information only.

What should I have ready when I call?

As much as you can of: the other driver's registration, name and insurer, photos of the scene and damage, the time and location, and any witness details. Missing some of it? Call anyway and we'll work with what you have.

I drive a PCO car / taxi — can you keep me working?

Yes — this is one of our specialities. Through our partners we supply fully licensed, PCO-ready replacement vehicles that are plated and insured for private hire, so you can keep taking jobs while your own car is repaired or your claim is settled. Tell us you’re a private hire driver when you call and we’ll prioritise getting you a licensed vehicle fast.

I was injured in the accident — can you help with that too?

We don’t handle personal injury claims ourselves — that’s specialist legal work and it’s regulated separately. But you won’t be left to figure it out alone: we work alongside an independent firm of solicitors and can put you in touch with them directly, free and with no obligation, while we handle everything to do with your vehicle. We receive no payment for the introduction — it’s simply part of sorting the whole problem.
