Last updated: June 2026
BKN Claims Ltd ("we", "us") is a non-fault accident management company registered in England & Wales, company number 16641299, registered office: [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS]. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website or our services, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We’ve kept it in plain English — if anything is unclear, call us and we’ll explain it properly.
When you contact us about an accident or start a claim, we collect:
When you use our website, we collect what you enter into our callback form, plus limited technical data (such as pages visited) through cookies — see the cookies section below.
Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are: performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating an accident management business, and compliance with legal obligations. If we ever want to send you marketing, we will ask for your consent first — and you can withdraw it at any time.
If you give us details about someone else — the at-fault driver, a witness, a passenger — we process that information under our legitimate interests in handling your claim, and we only use it for that purpose.
Running your claim involves trusted third parties. Depending on your circumstances, we may share relevant information with:
We do not sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We keep claim records for six years after your claim concludes, in line with the limitation period for claims in England & Wales, and then securely delete them. Website enquiries that don’t become claims are deleted within twelve months.
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it where there’s no good reason for us to keep it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable format. Contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL] or by post at our registered office; we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
This site uses a small number of cookies to make it work and to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use it. You can block cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.
Your information is stored on secure, access-controlled systems. Only the people working on your claim can see it.
If we change this policy, we’ll publish the updated version here with a new date at the top.
